Dogs and cats are completely different beings and each breed has distinct personalities, likes and dislikes, and each expresses themselves in different ways.
Although the basic body language of both species is similar, there are differences that only a dog or a cat will display.

1. Dog is stiff.
2. Ears are forward.
3. Tail is straight up.
4. Nose is wrinkled.
5. Dog may growl.
YOUR DOG SHOWS FEAR BY:
1. Head is down.
2. Nose is wrinkled.
3. Ears are back..
4. Hair on back standing up.
5. Tucking its tail.
Remember, always pay attention to the dog's eyes, ears and tail. They are the best indication of the animal's state of mind. Most animals will give you a warning by its body language. So so be prepared, and never try to pet a "smiling" dog!
