I sometimes employ crystals during Deep-Body Work. While my client is laying on the healing table, I place certain crystals over the Chakra centers. Sometimes I ask the client to hold specific crystals while I balance and work with the aura.
Crystals should always be placed with the terminated end facing the crown chakra. In the cases where raw, non-terminated crystals are used, feel the energy of the stone and place it accordingly. Begin placing the crystals from the base of the spine, up toward the Crown Chakra, just like you would do with any Chakra alignment.
Before you seal and close the aura, remove the crystals beginning with the Root Chakra, working toward the Crown Chakra. Then seal the aura. It is extremely important to make sure the aura is completely closed as any holes or gaps left in it will allow unwanted energies to enter again. I use a snap or a clap over the Crown Chakra or the Solar Plexus Chakra.
When only working selected body areas, use the appropriate crystal over the related center, remembering to remove the stones and close and seal the aura when the treatment is complete.
Always clear each crystal after it has been used for a healing. There is a difference between clearing and cleansing your crystals. To clear the negative vibrations from a crystal after it has been used for healing, submerse the stone in clear, running water. I put my crystals into a glass bowl and run cold, clear tap water over them. You can cleanse your crystals by submerging them in a natural pond, stream or the ocean for an hour or two. Burying the crystals in sea salt for a few days also cleanses them.
To cleanse your crystal means you are de-programming it and removing any vibrations or memories that have been stored or accumulated in it. In order to properly cleanse a crystal, it should be placed in the earth for a week and then re-charged and activated.
Please remember: you are not the healer; Divine Light (Universal Source) is the healer. You are the vessel for Divine Healing. The glory should always go to the Divine.
On the following page is a chart that can be used for crystal placement. Which crystals to use is entirely up to the individual healer. You may have favorite crystals that you feel would be better suited for the healing. I only suggest certain stones that I have found to be excellent vibrational toners.
In addition to Clear Quartz, there are other crystals that help us heal and connect to the Universe and our Higher Self. Some healers work only with Clear Quartz, while others prefer the properties of Amethyst, Citrine, Jasper, Aqua Aura, Malachite and more. Every crystal has the ability to help us attune with our consciousness and through our expanded awareness, we are able to heal our bodies, minds and spirits. While some healers work with crystals only, there are other healing modalities can also include crystal work.
